• Reduce Travel Time: The project aims to cut travel time by 30 percent.
• Increase Capacity: The capacity of existing intersections and bridges will be expanded to accommodate an additional 19,600 vehicles per hour.

Mattar Al Tayer, Director General and Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of RTA, highlighted the strategic importance of the Al Khail Road Development Project. “This project is crucial for developing parallel and supporting road corridors to Sheikh Zayed Road, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, and Emirates Road. Al Khail Road serves as a major arterial route extending from Business Bay Crossing to its intersection with Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, featuring up to six lanes in some sections,” Al Tayer explained.
