The expansion of dedicated bus lanes is anticipated to yield substantial reductions in travel times during peak hours, with rates ranging from 24 percent to 59 percent across different streets.

Notably, journey times on Naif Street, Al Satwa Road, Omar Bin Al Khattab Street, and Al Nahda Street are expected to witness significant decreases, translating into more efficient commuting experiences for residents and commuters alike.

Improving Bus Arrival Times

In addition to reducing travel times, the project aims to optimize bus arrival schedules, with anticipated improvements ranging from 28 percent to 56 percent on dedicated routes.
